Hrm...looks like Creation screwed up (I know, I'm just as shocked as you are!)

From Samantha Ferris's blog:

I should clarify for you here, Carrie....this is certainly no attack on the volunteers...i know the long hours and hard work you put in and i respect you all greatly put in.....my frustration is with the guys putting it in. I find there antics a bit slimy and not 'above board', I'm afraid. Can't speak for the other guests, but after the convention in Chicago (which we rocked at) i was told that i would not be invited back because they heard me say on stage that i was a bartender in the past and they thought that was a little too 'working class' for a guest on their stage. Then they invited me last minute to LA and renegged for reasons that weren't clear. For the Dallas convention, we had a deal, they promoted my appearance and then backed out on a couple of details. So we had to bail out. So you can understand my frustration, right? LOVE the volunteers at conventions...it would never happen without them and they do it all for no money. My hats off to them all.....but the boys at the top need to check their 'decency meter'.....cause it's a bit low.
Wow. Said it wasn't going to dish...and there i did. kinda felt good...in a mean, slightly bitchy kinda way......but its all true and i stand by every word.

Emphasis mine, and wtf, being a bartender is 'too working class'?

From here.

TBTB are more than a little bit deluded if they think I'm gonna pay $22 for a seven-episode "season" of Jericho, particularly since there's no third season forthcoming. That's not a season, people; that's a slightly extended miniseries.

There were more than 200 people taking part in the Hey! Nielsen Superbowl ads panel. One of us will win the iPhone -- and one in 200 isn't bad. It was fairly fun, though it would've been better if it'd been a group chat rather than only being able to message one person at a time. I suppose group chat might've led to group concensus on the ads, but it also would've helped foster the social aspect of Hey! Nielsen, if that's really what they're looking for.

Speaking of Hey! Nielsen, I'm pretty much fed up with the Moonlight, Journeyman and Blood Ties fans and their spammy posting. Now I know how people felt about Supernatural and Jericho fans before we got a clue, I suppose. The difference is that SPN and Jericho fandoms did get a clue, and got the word out about how the site is meant to be used. The current big three don't seem to have gotten the memo -- or maybe they're just ignoring the memo altogether. They seem to be under the delusion that if they post enough, their show's network will sit up and take notice and renew/uncancel the show. I highly doubt it. The networks aren't going to pay attention, I would wager, until at least after the site's out of beta and has built up a significantly larger user base. They don't give a crap what 25 fans think, people.

There's talk of people creating sockpuppet accounts to post with, especially now that the site is limiting people to one opinion per day on any given subject. Nielsen's got to get a handle on that, or the site's never going to be a legitimate place to gather information.

I think the real value of Hey!Nielsen at this point is the opportunity to win new fans over to your show. The people who are there now are already predisposed to online fandoms, so half the battle is won. But spammy posting is not going to win over fans -- it's going to piss them off. Personally, I've never watched Blood Ties, but I can tell you this much -- now I never will. And I watched an ep or two of Journeyman and Moonlighting, there's very little chance I'll ever watch more. So, fans of these shows, you've blown the very real possibility that I might become another fan to bolster your numbers. And I would've been easy to win over. I'm a fan of genre stuff. I love vampires. But the Hey! Nielsen experience is frustrating when you've got to wade through several dozen versions of "best. show. evar." or (my personal favorite) "[favorite vampire] can suck me anytime!!!!!"

Yeah.
